Help remove divx from system preference!

This is really annoying, i installed divx just for a codec so i could play a video, then i trashed every possible divx component but it's still in my system preferences, but obviously won't open cause i trashed it..how do i remove this "other" section from my system preferencs and get this divx icon out of my system preferences??!
