Q: Confusing Ipod screen
I just purchased a Ipod touch 4th generation 8gb on ebay. When it arrived I had to purchase a cable to plug it into my computer to get it working. Now we have it plugged in but when I eventually turn it on it doesn't show the usual home screen with the slide bar to unlock. It has a picture of a beautiful yellow honda sportscar. Above it has the words Ipod and Itunes with what looks like arabic next to them. on the top line it has a small word ipod on the left and a power symbol on the right which shows it is charging as it is plugged in. It also has a small white circle on the sceen, which when tapped opens up a small black screen with some symbols with arabic words underneath. Where do I go from here? How can I change the language? I just want to download sime music to listen to. I have no idea what to do next...

Update Server
Try:
- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
Public DNS — Google Developers
- For one user uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes resolved the problem
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem
