Did you enable Find My iPad on your iPad?

If you have, lock your iPad.

If you have iOS7 on your device, then no. The thief must enter your apple ID to wipe your device. If you have pre iOS7 then unfortunately a thief can wipe it in a matter of minutes and resell it.

If Find My iPhone is not turned on the situation is completely different.

If the iPad was running iOS 7, the thief/finder will not ever be able to use it.

Apple (and no one else) can not assist (with serial number or iCloud) in finding a lost or stolen iPad.

Report to police along with serial number. Change all your passwords.

Can you please help and answer a few questions for me? I had two iPads both were stolen I was able to find one of them through find my iPhone and the second I was able to track to some place in Philly is there anyway that I can look to see if any pictures were taken through my iCloud? The app tracked my iPad to Philly to a specific address but it was an apartment building and unfortunately the police knocked on every door but no one admitted to having the iPad obviously! I was just wondering if there's any way that I can look to see if anything was done on that iPad through iCloud?

I have somewhat the same problem my iPad was stolen. I tried localising it using icloud but it was always offline.

However since yesterday when I login to localise it there a message telling me no device detected as if the iPad has been earased.

Can you please tell me if there is stiil a chance to detect it? if not how can I be sure that the ipad was earased since I did not do it.?
