how do I view movies on my tv from streaming on my pc

I am trying to play Amazon movies from my Mac to my Samsung TV, I can't get the picture or sound on the tv. I also have a Bose system for sound.

You will need a cable with a HDMI connection for the TV. Since you have not identified exactly what MBA you have I will guess that a cable such as this might do:
