Hi, I'm the owner of a brand new iPhone 5C, and I just had a question concerning Siri.
I know that there is "Enhanced Voice Quality" for Siri. It makes Siri sound more natural and realistic.
This is downloaded on my iPad, but I don't know how to download it onto my iPhone. Siri sounds somewhat robotic and I don't like it.
So, is there any way to download the Enhanced Voice Quality onto my iPhone?
iPhone 5c, iOS 7.0.4
This is not enabled with an app. This is included with iOS 7 settings but is somewhat buried.
To enable enhanced voice quality:
Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Voice Over > Languages & Dialects > Default Dialect > Enhanced Quality = ON
Weird... The switch for it is greyed out... I'll try a reboot and see if I can switch it.
Nope. Still sounds robotic compared to my iPad.

Bumping threads is a violation of the TOS. Please do not do this. Remember this is a user to user technical support forum, and if there are not any uses that believe they can answer your question, then they will not answer. Apple does not participate in the forum here.
If you were able to turn that switch on that Allan explained, then there is no other change that can be made. If you were not able to do that after a reset, then the next steps in user troubleshooting are a restore from backup or restore as new. I'm not sure, but I suppose you could search the Apple website support section and see if this enhancement is available in all areas. I do not know the answer to that question.

Just letting you know, however you do not mention if you were able to do anything with your problem with the information that I also provided.
The switch wasn't greyed out after I rebooted, so I turned it on. After the enhanced quality downloaded, I noticed no change in Siri's voice.
Again, this could be due to your location. I'm not sure how much change there should be. You could try and take a look in the User Guide to see if it explains anything there. http://manuals.info.apple.com/MANUALS/1000/MA1565/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf
EDIT: I was able to find this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5025 about the enhanced voice quality. It seems this has to do with Voice Over and may only be available for that. I did not read the entire document, but it would be good reading for you.

All you have to do is plug in your phone in the wall adapter and leave it connected to a wifi. It will automatically download a more natural voice if you leave it plugged in like this.
