Printer Recommendation
I would like a printer recommendation. Printer to be used with Mavericks. HP seems unable to provide printers for Mavericks. Just bought one and having issues.
iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

You will get a pretty wide verity of recommendations for other users here. For example: I have used Epson Inkjet All in One Printers for years with various Mac's and OS X's without issue.
For Lion and Mountain Lion, see > Mac Basics: Printing in OS X Mountain Lion & OS X Lion
For a supported printer list, see > OS X: Printer and scanner software available for download
Here's another vote for Epson; in fact I'm researching which one to buy as my old one is exhibiting signs of old age (the feeder inside the unit appears to have shifted or whatever - full pages are printed crooked/slanted and the paper is curled at the side). Anyway, I also like all-in-ones and since I do more photos/graphics, I'm looking at the XP 810 or 850.
I too have compared a couply of different Epson models. My CX4200 is still working fine and prints great photos, even though it is dated and a little slow.
I did notice that many of the newer models have way smaller ink cartriges than my CX4200. So even though their cartritges cost slightly less, it is hard to tell if the price of ink will end up costing more or less in the long run..?
On that note: I can't even recomend the XP 850 over the XP 810. To me it only looks like the XP 850 has slightly larger ink cartrages, plus a few more buttons and wistles than the XP810.
Yeah, you may be right - we've sort of decided to try the 810 (I do expect absolutely perfect color representation/printing or it's not good enough, LOL), but we're going to buy it at a place where they have an easy return policy just in case.....
😉
Not wanting or needing paper feed, I might go for the XP-610 which is the same basic design as the XP 810 without the feeder do-dad on top.
For me that's a non-starter because I've been pampered with having 6 ink cartridges and the 610 only has 4 (both the 810 and 850 have 6). Those two do make a difference in color quality.
I would choose a Brother Printer over an Epson any day. They are the best out there hands down.
I use an all in one laser wifi samsung printer it works but then I only print maybe 20 pages in a year tops
