Q: Cannot send emails from the IPhone using Live.com emails accounts. Help please!

I have three Live.com email accounts which I  access on my Iphone. Since returning to the UK from Europe I have been unable to send emails from any of my Live.com accounts, when I try to send from the IPhone. I can send emails from a standard desktop PC. So the ive.com accounts do work with a different interface. It's just the Iphone which will not send emails.

What happens when you try to send the mail? You do not identify any error messages you receive when you attempt to send mail.

    Hi thanks for response.

No. I recieve no erorr message byut the email does not appear in the Sent Folder on the Iphone nor in Sent folder on my Live.com account when I check it on a desktop PC. The email is not recived by the intended recipient.

When I deleted and reset one of my Live.com accounts using the choice New Account/Other the new set up does not include a Sent Folder. So I can only set up Live.com accounts on my Iphone using the Outlook.com choice. Does that have any bearing?

When setting up an account as new, and as a POP account, it will not include a Sent folder until the first time that you send mail. That folder is created when the first mail message is sent.
