I wonder if it's worth spending $ 600 more for the i7 version 2.7 3d generation thank you. First mac purchase.

That sort of decision is an individual one. However, IMHO, unless you are planning to use very processor-intensive applications, I would opt for the one costing $600 less.

Could you tell me how long a mac can work with evolution of sofware bas on your experience ? If i can get 2 more years by taking that lasted technologie maby it value.
Me i can tel that a PC normaly is good for 3 years afters that i'm starting getting problems with new software. third laptop so i would like to try something else.
Normaly in pc i like to go on a web site that are comparating the processor but i didn't fint it for those mac.
I need some argument to make a good decision. I know it personal but still 600$ or could be less or more it is starting at 1500 to 2500$. I can say with no hesitation that i don't normaly use intensive application but it is more for the long terms that i'm looking.

Any response would be a generalization. I have been using Apple products for 18 years. I expect 3-5 years before technology causesd me to decide to buy something new. Comparing an Apple with a PC is like comparing a Ferrari to a go-cart.
I would repeat my original suggestion. If you are not planning processor-intensive use, save the $600. There are absolutely no guarantees about future technology advances. However, the only major platform change Apple has made was the switch ( a few years ago) from thr Power PC processor to an Intel-base platform.
Apple software is usually backward-compatible - in other words, Apple does not deliberately make you spend money to allow you to continue to use a current platform.
