Enjoying my very-first iPhone 5C from someone coming from Android.
I want to ask if there are any alternatives to the current keyboard for iOS7. I'm looking for those "emoji" icons and something that i can just swipe my fingers on the keyboard for a much faster typing.
Any advice please. Thanks.

Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards > Add New Keyboard > Emolji
The Swipe keyboard that you are accustomed to with the Android platform is not available for the iPhone. You can add the emoji keyboard to the iPhone. Go to Settings>General>Keyboard>Keyboards>Add New Keyboard and select the emoji keyboard. It will be available to type with when you go to the Messages app and then tap on the world symbol near the space bar. That will toggle between the two keyboards.
That's really cool.
I just wish Apple (or the one who makes iOS7) will recognise the need to add that swiping feature for the keyboard in the future as i really think it will be very helpful.

No there are not, just different languages. You can provide feedback to Apple at www.apple.com/feedback and click on the appropriate link. Many have talked about the Swipe keyboard in the past.
Well, i have been emailing Apple via the Feedback system for the 12 months. If there was talk before I'm just at wonder as to why Apple has not implemented this with the current iOS7.
Well, under the TOS of the forum, we cannot speculate as to why Apple makes the decisions that it does. You just have to wait and see.

Wait and see what they decide to do with their systems. Many people make feedback as you have done and others will continue to do. Apple decides what to do. We can only wait and see what they do.
Just purchased my first-ever Apple product...iPhone 5S. Extremely disappointed that keyboard apps such as Swiftkey are unavailable on this platform as they are on Android. Swiftkey and similar apps are truly excellent productivity tools. This may have been a show stopper for me had I researched properly the pros & cons of switching to Apple.
You are right about research, since everyone's pro and *** list will differ.
