Q: I am trying to restore my iphone 5 with its factory settings as we have lost the carrier icon in settings. I have turned of the icloud find my phone, but am unable to resore the phone as it keeps telling me that the server is down.

Thank you for providing the details of the issue you are experiencing when trying to restore your iPhone. If you are still unable to restore your iPhone, I recommend using iTunes to restore your iPhone:
