B&W A7 airplay connection lost to WiFi

after changing the setup of my B&W A7 speaker from beeing connected wirelessly to a LAN connection after a short time (minutes) the speaker loses its connection to the wireless network. I can see that in the setup window (IP-adr in the webbrowser) there is no wireless network selected and I have to point again to the WiFi network and entering the password. Otherwise I can do a power off/on at the speaker.

Previously the A7 was configured with the iPhone to use the wireless network only and that configuration worked well for more than five months now. But using a LAN connection must be working also.

For the wireless network I am using an AEBS (2nd generation) with the latest firmware installed. The AEBS is set to bridge mode (converting Ethernet data from wired to wireless).

problem solved, it doesn't have anything to do with the AEBS nor with the B&W A7 speaker. It had to do with the switch! Strange but it has; the switch is part of the DSL router provided by the network operator (Swisscom). It's a Motorola Netopia VDSL Modem with custom settings that are not documented.

Thanks to the community forum I found that there are other users having similar issues and there was help around leading me to IGMP snooping setting which may ** used for IP-television but in my case prevent AirPlay from working as expected.

Anyway my network is running fine now again with an AirPlay speaker wired to the local LAN.
