Why can not i watch my ipad on my tv

When i conected my ipad to my tv with hdmi connector, tv screen is black

iPad (4th gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 7.0.4, The previus version works fine

Thanks for the question. What type of cable are you using to connect your iPad to your TV? For example, if you are using a combination of cables and lightning-30 pin adapters, you may experience these symptoms.

What model TV. You may have to download an app for it.

Hdmi cable, and is the same thing if it was connected to a projector or toshiba tv. I thing there is something wrong with the os version, cause before i watched exactly on my tv as on my ipad screen
