Macbook pro retina display broken screen?

My one week old Macbook pro retina display 13 inch slipped from the bed earlier and I'm not sure what happened but I think the screen broke from the inside? -look at the pictures attached-

I bought it from Oman, in the middle east. And I'm moving to Rochester, New York in two weeks so I've decided to fix it there.

Would this be covered under warranty or will I have to pay? And how much would it cost to get this fixed? User uploaded fileUser uploaded file

I just came from the Apple store to find out about my one and 1/2 week old MacBook Pro that has a scratched screen. I had also purchased the additional Apple Care for 250.00 and assumed it would cover it, but NO. neither Warranty covers accidental damage. They told me it would be 800.00 to repair the screen. I was still within the 2 week return period so at least I cancelled my Apple Care plan. Don't be deceived when buying this plan because the only devices that are covered for accidental damage are the mobile devices such as IPAD. On the MacBooks it only extends the warranty that is already on it, which only covers malfunctions that are Apples fault. Not a very good warranty for the expense. Needless to say I'm pretty bummed about the whole thing.
