iTunes movie won't play - what to do?

Hi guys.

Well I just purchased The Little Mermaid on iTunes, but when my littlesister and I were going to watch it, it did not work.

I tried Play Movie and Scene Selection, but none of them worked. Although I did try Bonus Features and those scenes did work.

What is the problem and what am I going to do?


Please help. Thank you.

You've tried closing/re-opening your Mac's iTunes, and rebooted it ? If they don't fix it then depending upon what country that you are in (films can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the film from your iTunes library and redownload it via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes.


If you aren't in a country where you can re-download films or if it re-downloads and that doesn't play either then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com


If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
