How Delete podcasts from iPod without connecting it to my Mac?

I know how to delete my VOICE MEMOs from iPod, without connecting to my Mac.

It is very convenient to do it on the road without having to go home to my Mac to delete things from my iPod.

Isn't there some way i can do the same and delete my Podcasts (audio and video) and 'Music'

off from cluttering my iPod, after i've listened,

without having to wait til i go home and can later connect and remember which ones to delete?

Isn't an unreasonable request, is it?
