1G iPod Touch Newbie Questions

Hello.


I got an unwanted, used iPod Touch 1G for free recently. It has the latest iOS version. I have a few newbie questions:

1. Is there no internal audio speaker to hear without hook it up to anything? I can get audio if I hook up analog speakers and headphones.

2. I copied a few MP4 videos to iTunes. Is there a way to show these in Videos app instead of Photos? It seems Videos app. is for the ones from iTunes Store which I will not buy from due to annoying DRM. 😟

3. Is it possible to hook up this very old iPod Touch to any types of TV (CRT and HDTV), projectors, etc. for fullscreen videos? Basically a portable media player.

#1: It has no internal speaker. You can connect headphnes and sskeakers to the headphone jack

#2 Videos should go to the Videos app.

iTunes: Frequently asked questions about viewing and syncing videos

iTunes: May be unable to transfer videos to iPhone, iPad, or iPod

If they are coded as Music Videos they may be in the Music app.

#3 The 1G does not support TZ out

iPhone, iPad, iPod: TV out support
