Q: I'm trying to authorize a new computer; iTunes tutorial says go to iTunes menus and click on authorize computer. I cannot find this anywhere. It also says if can't find this go to advance search, can't find that either. Help??

I need help trying to authorize a new computer to iTunes. I cannot find the Authorize Computer link or Advance link in iTunes. Any help would be great.

Press the Alt and S keys and choose Authorize this Computer, or click here, follow the instructions, click on Store in the menu bar, and choose Authorize this Computer.

On your Computer...

Open iTunes...

If you're using iTunes 11 click on the box icon in the top-left corner to see the " Show Menu Bar "

and from the Menu Bar select Store...

From the Store menu, choose Authorize This Computer.

(In earlier versions of iTunes, access this option from the Advanced menu).

When prompted, enter your Apple ID and password, then click Authorize.
