How do I restart my macbook pro from my time machine?

I started it as a new computer and now I want to go back and restarted from my time machine!

If you want to restore a Time Machine backup:

Connect the Time Machine drive and hold Command and R keys while your Mac is starting up to start up in OS X Recovery.
In the OS X Utilities window, choose the option to restore a Time Machine and follow its steps. It will erase the hard drive automatically and restore the Time Machine backup you wish.
