I recently purchased a Apple TV and all ready love it. My roommate was wondering if there was a way to upload or save a DVD (physical copy) into iTunes so we could watch those without putting a disc into a DVD player? That way all of our movies were on some sort of online libray?
Let me know if I sound crazy for asking! 😝
not legally nor can one legally airplay mirror dvds from a computer to the appletv
the dvd's and bluerays are protected by the drm to make sure people don't copy the media illegally https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_rights_management
and that mean you can't import them to itunes or mirror
