so what to do if google no longer works on your ipad?

google have changed to a secure certificate and the way to get your ipad to work is to go to settings/ safari/ then clear cache , then clear history. After that close all apps by four finger swipe up then flick close apps , then press home button at the same time as top power button until slide bar appears on screen. Slide this screen to do a restart . Allow ipad to turn off . wait about a minute then turn back on using top power button and voila all is well with safari and google search.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430

How did you re install Google? I have tried and it will not download from the Apps as normal with the icon on the system.

Google is a very large company. It won't fit on your device. 😉 It might help if you specified which of the many apps Google makes your having trouble with.

Meanwhile, have you tried resetting your phone by pressing and holding the power and Home buttons until the apple appears? Are you able to find the app your looking for in the App Store? What happens when you try to download it? What country are you in?
