Hotmail is not an option on my iPad air

Learn how to set up your Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live, or MSN email account on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

1. Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account > Outlook.com.
2. Enter your email address and password. Tap Next.
3. Choose the account items you would like to sync from your email service provider.
4. Tap Save.

If you see this alert: "Unable to verify account information", be sure you have entered your email address and password correctly.

It is not a problem. As long as the email service support IMAP or POP, they should work on iPad Air. Here is a guide to manually setup Hotmail on it.
