I have a mastercard gift card and i bought something it said it wasn't in bank records

i kept trying over and over and finally reregistered my card, it went through many times all for the same thing will it buy all of them or find theu are the same thing and only buy one it is for my ipod so i don't think it can buy a app over and over again but will it charge me?
