I lost my phone and signed in on another one but only have50 photos where are the rest and can i retrieve them please?

Photostream in the cloud only keeps photos from the last 30 days (subject to a 1,000 photo limit). When photostream syncs the photos to your device they will stay there (subject to a 1,000 photo limit) until deleted, which means you may well have more photos in your photostream album on your device than there are in photostream in the cloud.
The consequence of this is that if you turn photostream off and on again on your device (or enable it for the first time), it will only be populated with photos from the last 30 days, which may not be all the photos that were previously in the photostream album on that device.
Is there anyway of getting all my photos that were stored in my photostream onto my new device as i lost my old phone?
Not unless they were on your camera roll and you have a back up.

Your photo stream album on the phone has 500+, photo stream in the cloud may not, it will only keep the last 30 days worth. the idea is that 30 days should be enough to move them to secure storage.

I use photo stream on my computer and my mobile devices, all photos that go to photostream on the computer are automatically imported to my photo application (iPhoto in my case), I never have to worry about losing any photos and have them all in one place when I want to (or get round to) sorting them.
I have an acer tablet is there any way of me importing them to back up on this? This is second iphone ive lost and only purchased another thinking id get all my pics back im not very technical and just thought they would all come back.
No. But you could copy your photos (or at least those you want to) from your photo stream album to shared streams, shared streams are not subject to the 30 day restriction.
Ok i will do that. If i lose this phone (fingers crossed i dont) would i be abe to see them on a new phone when i got one?
