Final Cut Express Will Not Open

Just yesterday, I was able to use Final Cut Express and it was working fine. However, the next day when I opened Final Cut Express, it just showed the loading screen, which is normal at first, but then it just stays on the loading screen. If I click away from Final Cut Express and then click back on the icon in the dock, it doesn't even bring me back to Final Cut Express, not even the loading screen. My only choice is the force quit the application. Is there any way to fix this problem?
