I can't load music on my ipod or burn cd's

I have been adding to my library and now I can't load music on my ipod or burn cd's in itunes. I can still load music to my ipod from my laptop so I think the ipod is fine. Can some one help?

dell demension 3100, Windows XP Pro, part of 90 station network
