Every time I reboot, I need to go to settings and turn off the screen lock

Ios7 got me with 10 or 15 things that don't work. Every time I turn the iPad on, I have to go to settings and turn the lock device off ! That ghosted Siri, screen lock, favorites and home button are a nuecience as well. It gets tapped accidentally all the time. I can get the apps to start over like I used to. I would double tap the home button then the app would blink. At that point I would touch the x and it would clear out or for Facebook it would start at the top of the page.

iPad, iOS 7, Upgraded to 7

Have you tried a device reset?

Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)

1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.

2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.

3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.

Every time I reboot, I need to go to settings and turn off the screen lock
