Can I use xcode 5 on my Macbook?

I need to know If I can use xcode 5 on my Late 2008 MacBook A1181 Intel 2.0 4GB 320GB running on Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63)

I want to build iphone apps on IOS 7.

Xcode 5.0.2, which is the version that adds the iOS 7 SDK, requires OS X 10.8.4 or later, so you cannot use it with the OS X version you are running.


A1181 belongs to a black or white MacBook, and you say it is a Late 2008 MacBook, so you cannot run OS X 10.8 or newer in that computer. OS X Mountain Lion and Mavericks require a Late 2008 Aluminum MacBook, or an Early 2009 or newer white MacBook. In other words, to build iOS 7 apps, you need a new Mac.
