Q: Does this apply to videos purchased on iTunes as well?

I only have 16 GB on my iPad and I only had enough space on my iPad to download 2 videos from iTunes. I want to know if I subscribe to iTunes Match it will allow me to purchase videos via iTunes.

iPad mini Wi-Fi, iOS 7.0.4

    No, it's music only, not videos

    iTunes Match stores all of your music in iCloud—even songs you’ve imported from other sources such as CDs.

     

    Whether you can redownload videos depends upon what country that you are in, and if they remain in your country's store.

    I live in the US. So if I delete a video from my iPad it will stay in my icloud account as purchased for the duration it remains available on iTunes?

    You will be able to redownload it as long as it remains in the US iTunes store. You are better off keeping and maintaining a backup copy of all of your downloads rather than relying on being able to redownload them.
