Q: I recently bought an album on iTunes on my cell phone.

As in the title, I bought an album through iTunes on my phone last month. Later I tried to view the files on my PC laptop, and although I was connected to the internet, no songs downloaded. I plugged my phone in to remind iTunes of the new files, and only half of the album downloaded. I want to have all of the files on my computer, but they only show up on my iPhone and my iPod Touch. How can I download these purchased files?

iPhone 4, iOS 7.0.4

You might be able to redownload them on your PC via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage. Or you should also be able to connect your phone or iPod to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases, that should copy them over.

The 'automatic downloads' page that you posted from only applies to new purchases e.g. if it's now 'on' on your PC's iTunes then if you buy any more music on your iPhone and/or iPod then those track(s) should also then automatically download on your PC
