Uninstalling QMaster

Hi,

Like a lot of people, I installed Shake 4.1 with QMaster, not knowing that it was not compatible with Compressor. Apple is saying I have to install the Universal Crossgrade, which I would rather not do as I am in the middle of a large FCP project some 2 years in the making. Plus I have to mail in the disks...which could take weeks...

How do I unistall QMaster? I have read through the archives and seen a script written by ShowStopper - how does this work? I want everything back to before I installed QMaster with Shake...

Thanks.

Guys,

You might want to try these one out. 🙂

Delete the ff:

/Applications/Apple Qmaster.app
/Applications/Apple QAdministrator.app
/Applicatons/Utilities/Batch Monitor.app
/Applications/Compressor.app
/etc/qmaster
/Library/Application Support/Apple Qmaster
/Library/PreferencePanes/Apple Qmaster.prefPane
/Library/StartupItems/Qmaster
/Library/Receipts/Compressor.pkg
/Library/Receipts/DVCPROHDCodec.pkg
/Library/Receipts/IMXCodec.pkg
/Library/Receipts/HDVCodec.pkg
/Library/Receipts/Uncompressed422.pkg
/Library/Receipts/Qmaster_Applications.pkg
/Library/Receipts/Qmaster_Services.pkg
/Library/Receipts/BatchMonitor.pkg
/Library/Receipts/Qmaster_Plugins.pkg
/Library/Receipts/Qmaster_Frameworks.pkg
/Library/Receipts/Helium.pkg
/Library/Receipts/ProRuntime.pkg
/Library/Receipts/Swamp.pkg
/Library/Receipts/Qmaster.pkg
/Library/Receipts/TranscoderX.pkg
/Library/Receipts/ProVideoCodecs.pkg
/Library/Receipts/ProAppRuntime.pkg

There is still a lot more but I think this one will do. I remember one time somebody else here in the forum who had a uninstaller script for that. Anyway, just give it a try. 🙂

Hope that helps.
