Q: iPod touch transferred music onto MAC and Touch shows music…but cannot play…scans through songs will not play

Ipod touch upgraded to iOS 6.1.5 version and transferred or added to MAC computer from Dell...music shown on touch...scans from song to song rapidly..cannot play any?
