Q: windows Partition Empty

Hey everyone,

I just attempted installing windows using bootcamp. After bootcamp finished partitioning the drive it reboots and looks for the windows partition, however it gives the error "no bootable device - insert boot disk and press any key". I am using a windows 7 64 bit ISO mounted onto a hard drive (used bootcamp for this too) and that worked perfectly. It then picked up on that and used it to create the partition (as it should also), then the above occors. It turns out the bootcamp partition is EMPTY. Nothing is on it whatsoever. PLUS it doesnt show up in the disk startup section of system preferances OR when I press alt option on startup.

I have tried the following:

ALT option on start up (doesnt show up)

Reintalling windows ISO onto the hard drive to make the boot disk

Removing the partition and starting fresh

NONE of which seem to help, Any help would be greatly appriciated,

Hammie
