Q: Airpaly Mirroring won't work - 2012 Macbook Air

I have a 11" MacBook Air I bought in July 2012, and it doesn't give me the option to use Airplay Mirroring with my Apple TV under System Preferences>Displays. Apple says Airplay should work with Macbook Air's from mid 2011 or newer. Why doesn't mine work?

MacBook Air (11-inch Mid 2012), Mac OS X (10.7.5)

You need OS X 10.8 or later.

 

Your profile says you are running 10.7.5
