Q: i plan on changing my internet provider in the next couple of weeks. I tried adding the new provider to my IPad following the on line guide but was not successful. Rogers.com was not listed and when I selected other I was unsuccessful.

I plan on changing my internet provider in the next few weeks. I tried adding an account on my IPad to the mail, contacts, calanders but was not successful. The new provider is Rogers.com was not listed and when I selected other was not successful.

    In mail, contacts and calendars you're simply adding your e-mail account, not your internet account.

     

    If you need help adding your rogers e-mail, have you looked on their support page? they may have the info for you to enter to access your mail from them.

    Thing is, until that account is active I don't think you can add it. For example, I have to go to yahoo.com and set up an e-mail account before I can go into the mail app and add it because the mail account verifies the address as working. If you don't have sevice yet, then the mail won't work yet.
