IOS devices are not meant to pair with Macs as file transfers over Bluetooth is not supported.
You can create a personal are network for internet sharing.
Instead of throwing a tantrum and making childish threats, try telling us what it is you are trying to do.

Many people want many things.
What you can do is AirDrop files between certain iPhones and certain iPads. AirDrop uses BlueTooth and/or WiFi. File sharing and wireless sync are other options as long as the Mac and iDevice are on the same WiFi network. Not a joke, just an informative answer to the question.

Jan 3, 2014 2:57 PM in response to mikeuserby Lawrence Finch,Airdrop uses Bluetooth, but only between iOS devices. Not between iOS devices and computers. It is needed between iOS devices, because they cannot talk to each other over WiFi. But iOS devices and computers CAN talk to each other over WiFi, which is 10 to 100 times faster than BlueTooth.
