Q: Computer hangs when it reaches the stage of "accessing the iTunes Store".

My computer will not access the iTunes store. I have re-installed iTunes about 5 times, I have downloaded the installer in both 32 and 64 bit versions. But the computer hangs when it reaches the stage of "accessing the iTunes Store" during each first attempt to synch with the iPhone 4s.. Any thoughts?

The computer in question is a Lenovo ThinkPad Twist running Windows 8.1 on an i3 platform.

With those symptoms, I'd try the following document:

Apple software on Windows: May see performance issues and blank iTunes Store

(If there's a SpeedBit LSP showing up in Autoruns, it's usually best to just uninstall your SpeedBit Video Accelerator.)
