How do I turn off iMessage. Son has Droid and for past three days text aren't reaching him. He is in another location. No problem before this
Turn off iMessage
Settings>Messages>Send and Receive>Apple ID>Sign Out
1. Messages on the iPad can only be sent to other iDevices
2. The receiving party must also be registered with iMessage
Note: The two above conditions must be met.
IMessage is iOS devices only.
IPads do not natively do SMS(texts).
You can get apps in the store that do texting, video messaging, etc.
Skype, tango, text+, Google+.
