It isn't letting me click on the iCloud button in iTunes, but I have music i want to transfer.

I just got a new laptop and im trying to transfer songs that are already in my apple account to my iPod but i cant listen to them or do anything with them, there is an iCloud button which im pretty sure is whats stopping me from listening to them. i click on it but it does nothing, i paid for those videos and songs and i just want to put them on the ipod.. is there another way besides iCloud?
