hi! i just got a second hand macbook air (Lion 10.7.5.) as a christmas gift. it comes with no garage band, iphoto or imovie, which i need.
what should i do? i can't find a way to download ilife 11 legally anywhere...
Help would be much appreciated!

HI! thanks for taking your time to answer. my problem is that macbook air doesn't have a dvd/cd slot (i already own the cd of ilife 11 myself that i bought for my old computer) therefore, i am trying to find it as a download... so i can install it directly to my computer.
No downloads are available. You will have to connect a DVD drive to your MBA and use your iLife disk. The Apple superdrive or any other commercial drive will do.

If you know someone with a mac (desktop or macbook pro) with a DVD drive, you can go on same network as them and use the Remote Disk.

It should be available for an MBA running Lion.
As an alternative to using the network, you could also use cable - USB or firewire to use their DVD drive to install software on your MBA.
