How to delete old file versions in 10.9? For Lion it worked like described in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4753, but for Mavericks don't.

in Lion it was possible to get rid of older versions of a document (e.g. pages). This is described in

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4753. But for 10.9 things were changed. I can't find a way how to delete older versions of a document.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

I don't agree. After digging for more than 2 hours I've found it:

- Open the document (e.g. textedit)

- menu File -> Revert to

- select 'Browse al versions'

- move pointer to upper border of your screen and a menu will appear

- there under 'File' -> 'Revert to' you can find the commands 'delete versions' or - if ALT is pressed 'Delete all versions'

By doing so, you don't delete the file - just the versions.

thanx anyways
