Using my work email setup on my iPhone 5 I am able to send emails to all my colleagues on same network but I am unable to send the email on my own hotmail account. Please help !!
I have setup email using POP settings.
iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.4
What error do you see when trying to send mail?
I can send emails to all email addresses within my company (work) network using the same work email account setup on my iPhone5. But when I try to send email from the same account (work email on iPhone 5) to hotmail or gmail account, my phone shows that email is sent and put the email in sent folder of iPhone but I never receive the emails on my hotmail and gmail accounts.
I have also tried sending emails to my friends using hotmail or gmail account but in vain. Phone shows that email is sent but email is never received.
No error received at all.

Then secondly, if you attempt to send mail to anyone from the hotmail or gmail accounts on the phone to anyone at all, they show sent but never arrive. Is that correct?
I want to make sure I am completely understanding what is happening before we try to figure out what is not happening. No matter what, the hotmail and gmail accounts are not working on the phone, correct? Do the hotmail and gmail accounts work if you try them from the computer?

YES - (The message is shown as delivered as its moved to sent folder)

NO - I dont have any hotmail/gmail account setup on my phone. Its a new work phone and I only have work email account setup on the phone. I was just trying to send a test email to my hotmail and gmail account but failed to receive those using my work email account on iphone 5.
I have tried receiving email on my work account on iphone, sent from my hotmail account (using web) and received it.
Incoming is all fine and I am able to receive emails from all sources but outgoing is only sucessful if I send it to anyone using my company's email account.
Sorry if my question wasn't clear earlier. I really need to fix this..

Alright, but mail can be sent and received by your colleagues at their work email addresses? It just appears that you cannot send mail to outside email addresses, is that correct? If you try to send mail to outside addresses from a computer, does that work? When you are testing this outside mail sending, are you trying it on your work wifi, or on cellular? Have you tried to send when away from work? Can any of your colleagues send mail from their devices to outside email addresses? I'm sensing here that your employer may have some restrictions on their mail account or their wifi. Can you check with your IT department on that?
I just tried sending email by turning off the wifi (my home wifi) and and using the cellular service (4G) and I was able to send the email to outside addresses.
Then I turned on the wifi and tried to send email again to an outside address and I was able to send email again.
Looks like its sorted magically... 🙂
