iphone opens new message window when i receive a new iMessage off one person in particular

Hi,

Wonder if anyone can help me, I live internationally and whenever i receive an iMessage off of ONE particular friend back home it opens up a new message window to send a text to their number without the area code in front of it (i.e 07 not +44 7) - its highly annoying as everytime i go to read the text i have to back out of the new window to get to the actual conversation im having with that person...

anyone experienced this or have any ideas?

iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.4

I currently live in Dubai and after turning my phone back on after the airplane flight in my iMessage has the same issue. And it's just or one sender also. I have done all the resetting I could with no resolve and yes it is pretty annoying. Hoping assistance arrives soon.

I am also having this problem and also reside in Dubai. It happened immediately after I factory unlocked my iPhone 5 to use a Du (Dubai carrier) sim card.

I hope somebody solves this soon.
