Q: i turned on TV out on my ipod classic

The ipod just says to connect video accessory. And if i turn off tv out, the sound works on the tv but the video only plays on the ipod. Does the usb part have to be plugged in for it to work?

Hello Snowcat567,

Indeed, you will need to connect the 30-pin connector to your device.

iPod displays a message stating: "TV Out Enabled: Please Connect Video Accessory"
