I have an iPod touch 5g with a scuff/scratch on the top right corner. It is showing as metal-colored. Can I paint over this (what paint) or do I have to follow a special process (tell me the process)?

You can paint it but I know of no good way to get it to match. I myself wold just live with it as is.

I'll paint it. Even if it does not match, it will not be as bad as the look if metal!
You can try fingernail polish or go to a craft store and get acryilic paint they use for paintings.
You could try painting it, but will most likely look worse than the scratch. Do you have access to artist fine point permanent markers? You may be able to find one that comes close enough to your color to mask the scratch. Look at hobby / art supply shops or a shop that sells graphic designer supplies. Look for something in the 60% to 70% opacity as well as color. Good luck.
