Edit names in Top Sites 7.0.1

Hey everybody,

In the old versions of Safari, namely that ones before Safari 7.0, the Top Sites page have an edit button that enable us to delete, pin, change position and change the site's name. Now, I'm using Safari 7.0.1, which shows the options to pin or delete a site if I hover the mover over it, but I didn't find the option to change its name.

For instance, if I add Rotten Tomatoes to top Sites it shows "Movies | Movie Trailers | Reviews - Rotten Tomatoes" when I want it to show just "Rotten Tomatoes". It occurs with several other sites.

I know it is a minor issue, but, is there a way to overcome it?

Tks in advance!

Ignore my first reply to you.

Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder

Type or copy paste the following:

~/Library/Safari/TopSites.plist

Click go then move the TopSites.plist file to the Trash.

Quit and relaunch Safari to test. If that doesn't help, delete the cache.

Back to the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder

Type or copy paste the following

~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db

Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.

Quit and relaunch Safari to test again.
