Q: My serial nos. on Logic Express not recognised

Sorry about the caps. I have just gave my mac mini a clean install. This means, I had to  reinstall podfarm, logig express etc. Can't find box, but have serial nos. on booklet. How can I reinstall Logic Express ?

iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 6.1.2, Mac mini 10.5.8

    First of all, make sure that you use zero's and not capital O's when entering your serial number.  This is a common mistake.

     

    Also, are you installing an upgrade or a full application?  If it's an upgrade, you will need the serial number of the full version before you can activate the upgrade.

    Thanks for that. I have located 7.2 disc. plus 2 logic express9 discs. I purchased these about 4/5 years ago.

    The numbers on the booklet (stickers) give upgrade numbers. Underneath that, there is a dsupport ID code.

    In the meantime, I have just installed the  logic express 7 disc . Also been on the website and downloaded 9.1.8 update.

    Sounds like you may have it all sorted by now.  (Just an FYI, there was no need to install LE 7.2 . . . you just needed to enter its serial number when you installed your LE 9 upgrade.)
