My apple id is not letting me log into my itunes account

Apple ID is working from ipod. Tried to log in from imac and will not let me access account

iMac (24-inch Early 2009), Mac OS X (10.7.5)

I would suggest signing out of your iTunes Store account on the iMac, restarting the computer, and trying to sign in again. If you contine to have issues, check your Apple ID account information. The links below should help you with this:

Change your account information

You can change your Apple ID name, password, or billing information at any time.

  1. Choose Store > View My Apple ID, and sign in.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Make your changes, and click Done.

Your changes take effect immediately.

If you also use your Apple ID in other apps, you don’t need to update your information in those apps. The changes you make in iTunes apply to all apps in which you use your Apple ID.
