Jan 3, 2014 1:40 PM in response to taxologistby King_Penguin,You can copy them to your computer's iTunes by connecting it to your computer and doing File > Devices > Transfer Purchases (that will copy epubs and PDFs as well as ibooks from the iBooks app) and you can then sync them to your new iPad.

Mar 26, 2014 2:25 PM in response to King_Penguinby Teresiachase,I posted a similar question and answered that it worked, but it DIDN'T. The only things that transferred were the items purchased through iBooks. None of the PDF files (magazines) that I have stored crossed over. If I hook up the old iPad, I can see them. They just don't go onto my computer so I can't download them to my new iPad Air.
