Q: just downloaded i tunes to new laptop and authorized computer. originally saw all my itunes, went to play one song and then the whole library disappeared and I cant find it

I just downloaded itunes to a new computer laptop windowa and authorized the computer. I initially saw all my itunes and then I started to add playlists and I lost all my itunes and cannot find them help
