There is no way to do that. You can save it as a pdf.
what is it that you want to accomplish?

I have a saved Project (book) on an old MacPro tower that I want to move to a newer MaxPro laptop. That older Project does not show up in iPhoto on the laptop (same account).
The only way to move the project is to move the Library that contains it.
Can you walk me through moving a Library?
To move an iPhoto Library to a new machine:
Link the two Macs together: there are several ways to do this: Wireless Network, Firewire Target Disk Mode, Ethernet, or even just copy the Library to an external HD and then on to the new machine...
But however you do choose to link the two machines...
Simply copy the iPhoto Library from the Pictures Folder on the old Machine to the Pictures Folder on the new Machine. That said, make sure you don't overwrite your existing library.
Then launch iPhoto. That's it.
This moves photos, events, albums, books, keywords, slideshows and everything else.
Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' to choose to open the Library.
How do you avoid overwriting the other iPhoto Library? Do you alter the name of the one you are copying to the second machines Pictures Folder or what?
Thanks
like you would with any file/folder move - use different names or put in different folders - basici Mac operation 101

So, when you boot iPhoto, it will open the default Library. To open the renamed new library, is it through the "File" "Open" function like other apps or is there an alternate protocol for the iPhoto library.
Thanks. 101, Hmmm.
Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library'
iPhoto 101 operations - to switch libraries on the currnt version use the switch library comand - for older versions launch iPhoto while depressing and holding the option key. use the resulting select library window to select the new default library

Terence:
Thanks. I will try this tonight, copying iPhoto Library to take home and complete a "Book" project in comfort.

Another option, thanks. My query was triggered by the desire to move a Book project to a remote Mac. Answer wasn't easy to find but a Devlin string contained the Library tip. Having not moved libraries around before I was unaware of the ability to have multiple libraries.
Thought you might be amused, I was one of the people that bought a Lisa when it came out in 85(?). Paid $10K then for it and never looked back. Have had Macs for 29 years, virtually every model made including the clones out of Round Rock.
In an abundance of caution, and adhereing to the Carpenter's adage of "Measure twice and cut once" I decided to ask through this community.
I appeciate you taking the time to answer.
Best regards
